My Passions and Interests
Originally from Denmark, I grew up on an island in the Baltic Sea where I developed my passion for nature between sea and forest. After my studies in Copenhagen, I went to work in Luxembourg where I met my husband, a lot of kindness, mutual help and above all a multiculture on a human scale. Since 2004, I feel welcome and integrated in Roeser and I would like to contribute to the well-being of the inhabitants of the town. After almost 15 years as a French and drama teacher in an international school, I have become a freelance author and illustrator and try as much as possible to write and illustrate for the sake of nature and to integrate my love for nature into everyday life. I was therefore involved in the municipal working group for soft mobility from the very beginning and I am delighted with the results of the group's work, which can already be seen on the streets of the municipality
My Wishes for the Development of our Municipality
I am committed to a municipality that gives priority to soft mobility and road safety. I want a community where residents, and especially children, can move safely and confidently on foot or by bike in and between villages. I would also like to participate in the creation of a local and collaborative grocery store/meeting place/bistro that would sell preferably local products and support cultural and societal initiatives across generations to reduce car travel, support local agriculture and craftsmen and encourage meetings and exchanges between the inhabitants of the commune.
